Inter Milan target Anatoliy Trubin from Shakhtar Donetsk as a potential replacement for Onana. The Nerazzurri are in talks with Man United for Onana’s transfer move and will have a meeting tomorrow. The Red Devils are eager to sign the former Ajax keeper, as Ten Hag wants Onana before the pre-season begins. Onana was one of the best players this season for Inter, as he settled perfectly in his first season and made some heroic saves to help Inter in becoming the runners-up in UCL this season.
Manchester United have made an official bid of €40 million for Onana, as they seek to replace De Gea. However, Nerazzurri will not accept any offer below €50 million and will use the funds to make other signings. Inter have Davide Frattesi as one of their top targets for the summer. Inter have a list of players to replace Onana, Trubin is one of them. The Ukranian keeper has helped Shakhtar to win the league this season.

The Nerazzurri will afford Trubin’s signing after selling Onana, but they will have to move quickly. Benfica are also eyeing the Ukranian shot-stopper. Meanwhile, Udinese have already made a bid of €6 million, but Shakhtar respectfully rejected it. The 21-year-old keeper has a high ceiling and has performed consistently this season with Shakhtar. He played 94 games and played several games in the Champions League facing the likes of Real Madrid, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Inter Milan.
Trubin has a contract with Shakhtar till 2024, but he will not extend it. So the Ukranian club prefers to cash in on him in this window. Trubin kept two clean sheets against Inter in the 2020/21 Champions League season, which eventually prevented the Nerazzurri to qualify for the Round of 16.
