Inter eye Gnonto as Correa’s replacement

Inter Milan eye Gnonto as a potential replacement for Joaquin Correa. The Nerazzurri are looking to sell the Argentine forward, as he has struggled to settle at the club. Simone Inzaghi brought the young forward from Lazio, as he had the potential to excel at a top club. Correa showed glimpses of his talent, but never really made his mark at the club. Moreover, he struggled with injuries now and then, which made it difficult for him to get into the rhythm and have more game time.

Correa was mostly used as a rotation option for Lautaro and Dzeko, but he has failed to impress both Inter’s directors and Inzaghi. So the club are in agreement to let go of Correa and are seeking a talented forward to replace him. The Nerazzurri are looking for a forward that has a high ceiling and are ready to make a bet on one of their academy graduates.

Inter eye Gnonto, but will face competition from other clubs

Wilfried Gnonto was part of Inter’s youth academy for eight years and has been impressive for Italy in the recent past. The Nerazzurri need a player like him that can change the game after coming from the bench. Gnonto has the experience of playing at the international level, and in Premier League. However, he will need time to showcase his talent. The Leeds forward will be willing to return to Inter, as his current club is going down to Championship.

The Nerazzurri will have to face competition from clubs like Everton, Freiburg, and Juventus. But they have the advantage as Gnonto would like to return to his youth club. However, the Nerazzurri are assessing other options, Tigre’s Mateo Retegui is another exciting talent. But Inter will have to make a move soon to avoid competition from other clubs.
