Inter want ‘Guard of Honour’, it all started with Ranieri’s gesture

The Nerazzurri beat the Blucerchiati by 5-1 on Saturday. And it was Sampdoria coach Claudio Ranieri’s idea to give them the ‘Guard of Honour’. In an interview, he revealed that it was his idea and this is a sport and tiny gestures are important. He also said that Inter won the Scudetto with four rounds to spare which is a huge margin. And they deserve all the praise that one can give. As Inter took over hard on Sampdoria, they looked ready for it. As the Nerazzurri have been on a winning spree, they came with an optimistic spirit.

At first, the Sampdoria players kept looking. While they tried to get back into the game, they ended up looking again towards the end. Ranieri believes that Inter deserved to win. And that they could’ve done better but they weren’t in character that day. While Inter might be struggling financially but as a team, they’re winning hearts and games both.
