Inter will face Milan in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. The Nerazzurri managed to beat AS Roma to reach the semis. Whereas, Milan thrashed Lazio yesterday night with a 4-0 score line. Olivier Giroud scored another brace in the space of four minutes to seal the game. The Derby Della Madonnina will take place on 2nd March, so Inter does have plenty of time to prepare.
Inter Milan lost 2-1 as they blew their lead in the space of a few minutes which, has made the Scudetto race open. The Nerazzurri will be eager to avenge in their next match as few players were frustrated after the derby. Inter have not won this competition since 2011 so, they will take this seriously. They have a chance to win it as well with this squad. But they will have to beat Milan, who have picked up form in recent games. Moreover, they are out of the Champions League so, they will have more time to recover.

Olivier Giroud seems to be back in form for Milan at right time. The French striker has scored a brace in his last two crucial games. Stefano Pioli said after yesterday’s match that he had injury issues in his back and ankle, but he has now returned to full fitness. Rafael Leao had a great game as well as he provided an assist and scored the first goal for Milan against Lazio. Rebic and Tomori played some minutes as well after recovering from their injuries.
Inter Milan will focus on their big game over the weekend with Napoli in Serie A. The Nerazzurri will have to get the three points if they wish to increase their lead at top of the table.
