However, now he is looking to move to a different club. The Lazio forward recently revealed that he is hurt by the criticism from the fans.
The Nerazzurri manager knew Immobile well when Inzaghi was Lazio’s manager. Ciro Immobile is familiar with Inzaghi’s style of play and the former Nerazzurri manager knows the qualities and limitations of Immobile. But now the Italian forward does not see himself staying at Lazio for the rest of his career. So he will be open to moving to Inter or any other club that interests him.
Inzaghi attempted to sign Ciro Immobile as Dzeko’s replacement
The Nerazzurri were after various strikers in the summer, including Immobile. But the transfer was not feasible at that point of time and Inter went ahead with acquiring Marcus Thuram. However, a reunion is on the cards as both Immobile and Inzaghi have a good working relationship. The Italian striker was excellent under Simone Inzaghi. He managed to score the most goals in Serie A season under him.
Inzaghi will be needing another striker next year as Arnautovic or Sanchez could depart. Immobile usually works as a lone striker at the front, but he can pair with Lautaro. The Nerazzurri manager will know how to use him efficiently, as the Italian striker has immense experience playing in Serie A.
