Inter to sign a striker in the January transfer window to bolster their attack and support Lautaro and Thuram. The Nerazzurri are again in need of a forward after Arnautovic’s serious injury. Currently, Inzaghi has only three strikers at his disposal and is struggling to rotate with the fixture congestion and international games. Also, the Italian manager is not confident to start Alexis Sanchez in crucial games.

The Nerazzurri have been enjoying the attacking prowess of their frontline duo Lautaro and Thuram. However, Inter is struggling to find assistance from other sources. Arnautovic showed sparks of being a good support striker, but his injury has left Inter with only Sanchez. Both Arnautovic and Alexis Sanchez have failed to get their name on the scoresheet. Inter are facing problems as Lautaro and Thuram are getting overworked and could struggle if one of them gets injured.

The Nerazzurri did an overhaul of their attacking department by bringing in Thuram, Arnautovic, and Sanchez. Meanwhile, Lukaku, Dzeko, and Joaquin Correa decided to leave the club. Lautaro Martinez took on more responsibilities as he became the first-choice captain of the club. But Inter are looking to add another player to this department as the future of Sanchez and Arnautovic is uncertain. The duo are here on loan deals.

Both Arnautovic and Sanchez are temporary options and could leave in the summer. Inter are looking to bring a striker, who can stay longer and help support Lautaro and Thuram in the longer run. The management are looking at Taremi, who was an option in the summer transfer window as well. The Iranian striker has experience playing in the Champions League and has been one of the best forwards for FC Porto in recent times.
