Inzaghi backs Lautaro, says he will find his form

Inzaghi backs Lautaro as the Argentine forward is going through a rough patch. The Nerazzurri manager believes he will be back to scoring goals for fun in no time. Lautaro Martinez is currently going through a goal drought and has not found the back of the net in the last eight games in all competitions. However, Inzaghi is not concerned as long as he is getting chances, and coming to goal-scoring positions. Also, once he has his confidence back, Lautaro will start scoring regularly.

Inter Milan relies on Lautaro for goals, especially after Lukaku’s injury. The Argentine striker was the talisman last year and helped Inter in completing the domestic double and go to the round of 16 of the Champions League. The Argentine scored a wonderful long-ranger against Liverpool at Anfield with Van Dijk in front of him. Confidence matters a lot to Lautaro, and he can be one of the best strikers in Europe, when in rhythm. But Inzaghi will have to help him to keep composure in front of the goal and be clinical.

Inzaghi backs Lautaro Martinez ahead of Barcelona clash

Simone Inzaghi is confident that Lautaro will be a great asset against Barcelona tonight. The Nerazzurri are planning on using counter-attacking tactics to hurt the Catalans at home. Lautaro is brilliant in making runs behind the defense and has the speed to get past defenders. Inzaghi is not worried about him as his movement has been good in recent games, which has helped Inter in creating chances.

The Italian tactician said he wants his side to be compact and show character in a match like this. Inter should not drop too deep and take their chances when they have the ball to hurt them. Inzaghi is also happy that Julio Cesar and Diego Milito will be present at Camp Nou tonight to support their team.
