Joao Mario will leave Inter and join Sporting CP as he has agreed to the personal terms. As reported by Fc Inter News.it. He will finally make his return to Sporting CP. Joao will most likely join them by the end of this week. Mario has agreed to a 4-year deal informally. However it can be a 3 year deal with a 1-year option. He has had a very good season with them this year and helped them a lot in their Liga NOS victory.
The Inter board will meet with Federico Pastorello to make the deal happen. Pastorello will help to complete the transfer and do other formalities. The directors did have a call with him in the past week. Joao has not played much for Inter. He was signed in the 2016 transfer window. But the deal has not been successful. He has had a series of loan spells since joining. Some English clubs were keen to take him on loan last year. But he ended up at his former club, and looks like he will finally make a permanent move their.

Joao started his career in Sporting CP’s youth system itself. He has around 82 appearances for Portugal at the youth level. Joao also has 13 appearances for the Under 21 team. He was in the 2016 Euros winning squad. He also got selected in the 2018 World Cup squad.
Both the clubs want this deal to happen. Therefore it will not take much time and Mario will return to his former club. Inter have to sell many players in this transfer window. They have to complete all the selling before June 30 as well. They have to make around 80 million euros from just by selling the players.
