Klopp could replace Inzaghi if new owners buy Inter

Jurgen Klopp could replace Simone Inzaghi if Inter decide to find a new coach. The Italian manager is not under immediate threat to leave the club, but Inter are assessing all the options. The Nerazzurri had a rough start to the season. The top-four spot was looking hard to achieve at one point. However, Inter have been a different side since the World Cup break. They now sit in 2nd position with an 18-point gap from Napoli at the top and have already won a trophy.

Inzaghi’s work during the break was evident as the Italian manager has improved Inter’s defense. However, there is still work to do, and Inter are lacking fitness they had under Antonio Conte. Hence, the board are targeting Klopp, who can build a good project at Inter, and improve the team’s physical health. But, there is a catch, as new owners from the US will have to take over Inter if they wish to sign Klopp.

Jurgen Klopp’s future at Liverpool is now under serious doubt. The Reds are having a terrible season, as they are currently at 7th and will need a miracle to get into the top four. The form of players have declined drastically, and he has not been able to change tactics according to his team. The German manager needs new additions in the midfield to improve the state of the club.

According to reports, Thiago Motta could be another candidate to replace Inzaghi. The former Inter Milan midfielder has done a tremendous job at Bologna, which beat Inter on the weekend. Roberto De Zerbi is also on the radar from Brighton and Hove Albion. However, the board trusts Inzaghi and believes that he will keep Inter in the top four and take them deep into the Champions League.
