Lautaro Martinez suffers an injury while training with the Argentina National team. He could not play against Paraguay in the World Cup Qualification match. Joaquin Correa started in place of him and partnered with Lionel Messi. However, Argentina could not get past Anthony Silva, Paraguay’s goal keeper, and had to settle for a 0-0 draw. Lautaro has a muscle strain and will not be available for Argentina’s next match against Uruguay as well. But according to the report, the forward will be alright after this international break and will play for Inter Milan.
Lautaro has been in great form and has been very clinical in front of goal. He has worked on his first time shot and volleys a lot. The Argentine has scored some brilliant goals so far for Inter and he would like to continue his form. After the departure of Romelu Lukaku, a lot of pressure was on Lautaro. And he has stepped to become the main man for Inter, also he has formed another great partnership with Inter’s new signing Edin Dzeko at the front. He is already familiar with Inter’s other new signing Correa as they have played many games together for Argentina.
Lautaro Martinez suffers a muscle strain injury
Martinez had a minor injury during the start of this season but he recovered from that quickly. Inter will hope that this injury is not big and he will be available for their next game against Lazio. Inter are currently at 3rd position and they are 4 points behind Napoli who are at the top. Also, their city rivals, AC Milan are at 2nd and 2 points ahead.
Argentina will face Uruguay on Monday and they would need their best players for that match. But Lautaro might not take part in that match. Inter will hope that he recovers from his injury quickly and his national team do not force him to play.
