Man City and Chelsea eye Alessandro Bastoni, as the Italian defender put a hold on his contract extension talks with Inter. The Nerazzurri are looking to extend the former Atalanta defender’s contract soon. His current deal will expire on June 2024, and Inter had talks with his agent over a new deal, but it has led nowhere. Inter are still reluctant to agree with his demands, so the talks are put on hold currently. While Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Man City are monitoring his situation.
The Italian defender is earning €2.8 million per season and wants to double his wages, so his agent is negotiating with Inter. Tullio Tinti has asked for €5.5 million but Inter are reluctant to go over €4 million. While the Premier League clubs are willing to offer him a lucrative contract. However, Inter can not afford to lose both Skriniar and Bastoni in the same window.

Bastoni will settle well in Graham Potter’s system as the Italian defender is brilliant on the ball.
