Ivan Perisic could follow Antonio Conte out of Tottenham, and Inter are eyeing him as they want to upgrade their left flank. Perisic was a great asset for Inter, and created several chances from the left. The Nerazzurri are missing him, as Dimarco was brilliant in the first half of the season but is struggling now. While, Perisic decided to leave Inter and join Spurs because of Antonio Conte. The Croatian wing-back wanted to reunite with Conte. But he is now looking to leave the North London club after the Italian manager’s departure.
Conte and Perisic did not have a great start at Inter, as the Italian manager decided to loan them to Bayern Munich. However, after his return to the San Siro, the duo formed a brilliant pair. The Croatian became one of the best wing-backs in Europe. The Croatian played a huge role in Inter Milan’s Serie A triumph. Perisic is now willing to come back, but he might have to decrease his wage demands.

The Nerazzurri have been playing with the 3-5-2 system for a while now, but they have had some shortcomings in recent times. They do not have a player like Perisic that can go 1v1 against the opponent’s full-back. So they struggle to create chances from the wide regions. Dimarco has great delivery but he does not have the dribbling skills like Perisic. While, Gosens is still settling at Inter and has been in and out of the squad due to his injury issues.
Perisic will have to agree with Inter’s demands as the Nerazzurri are struggling financially. Inter will then look to sell Gosens if the Croatian wing-back comes back. The Nerazzurri also have Conte on their radar, but they will prefer De Zerbi if Inzaghi leaves in the summer.
