Sanchez hopes for Inter return after rejecting Al Nassr

Alexis Sanchez hopes for a return to Inter Milan, as he rejects Al Nassr’s offer and is leaving Marseille just after playing for a season. The Nerazzurri are in the market for a forward, but they might not want to go back to Sanchez. The Chilean striker had a poor season with Inter before his departure. Moreover, he has injury issues, and Inter want a reliable forward. They need a backup and rotation option for Thuram and Lautaro.

Sanchez had a great season with Marseille but is leaving the French club after one year. The former Arsenal striker has options to move to Spain or Saudi Arabia. But he is looking to return to Inter where he had a decent stint. However, Inzaghi did not play him often, and Sanchez went out to get regular chances. But Sanchez is now ready to operate as a second fiddle and is hoping for a return.

Sanchez hopes for return to Inter, and Correa could leave

The Nerazzurri are looking for possible suitors for Joaquin Correa, as the Argentine striker did not help Inter last season. So Sanchez’s arrival depends on Correa’s departure, and the Chilean striker would have to take a big wage cut. Inter are looking to reduce their wage bill to accommodate various signings this season. But Inzaghi is looking for a competent striker, who can start games and give something different in attack by changing the game after coming from the bench.

Inter Milan are also looking to finalize the Scamacca deal and complete the signing with their new bid. However, West Ham are looking for €30 million for the Italian striker, and Inter are bidding €25 million. The former Sassuolo forward wants to join Inter, so this could help in negotiations. Inter could still go for Sanchez, as they will need another forward ahead of the long season.
