Inter owners Suning set Scudetto as the club’s primary objective for the upcoming season. The Nerazzurri won the Serie A title under Conte, but have failed to get their hands on it again, as Inzaghi failed to defend the title by the slightest of margins. This season, Napoli went away with the title and were consistent till the end which was a surprise for everyone.
The owners expect the Nerazzurri manager to finally achieve this objective in his third year at the helm. They have given him the players he want and will complete other signings soon. Hence, despite losing some key players in the summer, Inter are optimistic about their squad. Inzaghi got the players he wanted in the midfield. Frattesi has been sensational in the pre-season as he has settled perfectly in Inzaghi’s system.
After last year’s success, Suning expects big things from their club this season. Inter managed to get back into the Champions League finals after more than a decade. But they now have to stay consistent and will need some different ideas in the league this season. Inter finished third last season and lost lots of games against lower opponents. Inzaghi will need a different game plan against them.
Inter owners set Scudetto as an objective and will sign other players
Inzaghi got Thuram and Bisseck after losing Dzeko and Skriniar on free transfers. Moreover, the Nerazzurri are working to sign another forward this season to support Thuram and Lautaro in the attack. Inter have also signed Juan Cuadrado on a free transfer, and the Colombian defender will provide support on the right flank to Dumfries.
Meanwhile, Darmian will continue in his right center-back role. The Italian defender excelled in this position in Skriniar’s absence. Lastly, Inter have to sign a keeper soon, as they lost Onana, Handanovic, and Radu in this window.
