Arsenal want Lautaro Martinez as they are looking to improve their attack for the upcoming season. But, Inter Milan are not willing to sell him as they do not want to disturb their successful attacking duo. Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez have been terrific for Inter and selling one of them would disturb their system. Lautaro makes quick and incisive runs in the box while Lukaku holds the ball buys time and space for him. But Arsenal’s technical director Edu has inquired about the Argentine. It is an ambitious move but Arsenal are willing to give players to Inter in a swap deal.
Inter Milan want to fill the space that Achraf Hakimi has left by moving to Paris Saint Germain. They have Hector Bellerin on their radar but have not made an offer for him. Arsenal are willing to offer Bellerin and Lacazette to get Lautaro Martinez. Lacazette has been inconsistent for the Gunners and they are ready to sell him this year. Also, Bellerin has gone out of favour as Mikel Arteta now prefers to start with Calum Chambers at right-back. Martinez is 23-years old and is one of the best young strikers in Europe but it would be tough to convince the Argentine as Arsenal can not offer Champions League football to him.
Arsenal want to sign Lautaro Martinez for the upcoming season
Lautaro has scored 37 goals and has provided 16 assists so far in 100 games for Inter. He was exceptional in the last season as he scored 17 goals and assisted 10 others which helped Inter to win the Scudetto after 11 long years. But he might not be a perfect fit for the Gunners. Aubameyang and Lautaro have quite similar playing styles as they both are quick and can get behind the defense with their clever runs.
Also, it would be tough to negotiate with Inter as they want to keep the Argentine.
