Eriksen’s collapse does raise a concern about the current schedule of footballers. Their workload is immense and it gives no time to players for physical or mental recovery. Due to COVID-19, players have a very tight schedule and have to play 2-3 games in one week. All the football associations should think of this as a warning. Some of the big clubs have faced a huge amount of injuries this season. It’s not good for anyone as the quality of football degrades due to this as well.

Martin also said that Eriksen was happy to see the well wishes and love from everyone. Especially by his teammates from Inter Milan. Romelu Lukaku dedicated his goal against Russia to him as well. The Nerazzurri fans also sent him texts. Martin said that he got messages from about half the world as all of them are concerned. Now Eriksen needs to rest well and focus on his recovery.
