Antonio Conte will stay at Inter Milan but only on one condition. He will make a final decision after a meeting with Steven Zhang. So, after a couple of weeks he will meet him and then decide about his future. Walter Zenga said that it is very important for the Nerazzurri to keep Conte if they want to continue their domination. The Nerazzurri have huge financial problems and they might have to sell some players to solve them. But Conte needs his main players for the next season or he might leave. Those main players are de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Bastoni, Achraf Hakimi, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Lautaro and of course Romelu Lukaku. Inter might need some more players to have success in the Champions League next season. But Conte understands the situation and will be happy if Inter are able to retain these players.
Conte will stay at Inter if his main players stay too
Conte feels that some players are untouchable and if Inter sell them, then his system will not work properly. Inter will have to find a way to raise funds and solve their financial problems. The Oak Tree have an offer for Suning but it’s taking some time. Inter need the deal soon as they have to renew some contracts of players like Bastoni and Lautaro. Bastoni’s agent is not happy with the proceedings so far. Inter had a contract ready for them but somehow the contract renewal got delayed.
Conte would be fine if Inter decide to sell other players. He knows that is the only way to get some revenue. Players would also want to stay and play better under Conte as all of them trust his system.
