Inter can snatch Kessi from Milan for the upcoming season. The Ivorian’s contract is about to finish in 2022 and the renewal of the contract is a necessity for the Rossoneri. Since the club recently said goodbye to Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu, this renewal is an absolute priority for them. Kessie is a youth icon from Stella Club d’Adjamé, a local Ivorian club. In 2014, he was promoted to the first team after playing with them for four years.
He started his career with Serie A club Atlanta. He joined Atlanta in 2015 on a three-year deal. Soon he became a part of the club’s Primavera squad. However, he was called to the first team in April. But he remained unused. Furthermore, he went out on a year-long loan to Serie B club Cesena. Further, he soon became a regular starter for his club. The 24-year-old made 37 appearances, scoring four goals in that season. However, his club couldn’t qualify in the playoffs. And he came back to Atlanta after that.

Inter can snatch Kessi from Milan as he demands €6 million
The 24-year old had a €2.2 million contract with Milan in beginning. While the Rossoneri offered to give €3.8 million to the Ivorian. However, he has demanded €6 million. Inter have been struggling with finances over the past year. Although they recently secured a €275 million funding for three years from Oaktree Capital. However, they kept a target of €80 million from player sales. They already have a confirmation of securing €70 million as PSG are offering the amount for Hakimi.
In fact, Inter are trying to pick good players that need minimum investment. Thus, Inter signed Hakan Calhanoglu on a free transfer. Further, Inter will pay €5 million annually to the 27-year old which keeps them in profit. Will AC Milan renew his contract or will Inter steal the deal?
