Inter don’t want Marcos Alonso or do they?

Inter don’t want Marcos Alonso according to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio via Sempre Inter. The report further confirms that the Nerazzurri will not bring any player to the club after Darmian. Moreover, Matteo Darmian will be Inter’s last signing this summer. Despite the reports suggesting otherwise, Inter have an outside shot at getting Alonso. Conte is a big fan of the left-back as he brought him to Chelsea from Italy. The Nerazzurri manager will also want to fill the void left by Dalbert after his departure.

Marcos Alonso’s relationship with Chelsea manager Frank Lampard went down the drain recently. The Spaniard was furious after being subbed off in the half time and reportedly had a heated argument with the Chelsea boss. Furthermore, Chelsea now have the services of Ben Chilwell who’s Franks first choice. This leaves Emerson and Alonso fighting for the minimal game time. Emerson is now playing the second fiddle to Chilwell leaving Alonso out.

Inter have departed Dalbert on a loan with a €12M option to buy. And if by any chance the Nerazzurri are thinking about Alonso they won’t be willing to spend more than €12M. Alonso will have to arrive on loan at Inter with the same price as the club might get for Dalbert.

Inter don’t want Marcos Alonso but it’s difficult to believe

Inter dont want Marcos Alonso

The fact that Inter don’t want to sign Marcos Alonso is a tough pill to swallow. The Nerazzurri looked around for a left-back throughout the transfer window. When they eventually signed Kolarov he turned out to be a wide centre-back signing. Alonso’s teammate Emerson was linked to Inter for a good part of the summer window. It’s just difficult to believe that the Nerazzurri are not making a move for Alonso who possibly wants out of Chelsea at this moment.

There can be a few possible reasons why Inter don’t want Marcos Alonso. The first one is Inter’s squad size which is considerably huge. Then there’s a possibility that the Nerazzurri just want to balance the books with Dalbert’s possible sale. Inter already have Young who plays pretty well at left wing-back so the club doesn’t want to invest in a 29-year-old Alonso. Also, the most exciting reason can be that Inter are saving up money for a big signing next summer and building upon that. The Nerazzurri club will not have the money from Dalbert’s departure before next summer, thus the club can possibly be plotting something.
