Inter Milan are hopeful of signing Lukaku back on a loan deal from Chelsea. Lukaku is pushing hard for a move back to Inter. The Belgian is ready to take a big wage cut as he wants to return to Milan. Inter are ready to bring him and they have already made an official bid of €5 million for the loan fee. But Chelsea have already rejected that bid as they need more for him.
The Blues brought Lukaku in a big-money move from Inter last season and they want to get some back this time. Lukaku has not been on the same level and Tuchel has been rigid in changing his system for him. So, both Lukaku and Chelsea want to part ways, and Inter are ready to take him on loan. The Nerazzurri can not afford his permanent signing but they are working on a loan deal. Both teams are now in direct contact and the player and his agent are pushing for a move to Inter.
Inter hopeful of signing Lukaku on a loan deal this summer
Inter are looking to sign players on loan or get free agents until they get their financial situation under control. The Nerazzurri might make another offer for Lukaku as they need a forward this season. Inter are in talks to sign Dybala as well but they might lose Lautaro who has been linked with various clubs. Also, Sanchez will most likely leave the club, and Correa might return to Lazio as well, so Inter need a striker.
Lukaku is not in Tuchel’s plans as the German coach wants to operate with Havertz as the number 9. Werner is another option available for him and the German striker works hard without the ball. So, Chelsea will try to loan him out if they get the right offer.
