Inter put Eriksen on sale while Atlanta’s Papu Gomez may act as a replacement
Eriksen’s move away from Inter will make a place for Atlanta’s Papu Gomez. In fact, Inter are set to cash-in on a series of players in the January transfer window and Gomez can act as a crucial replacement. The Nerazzurri are on a lookout for a striker and a midfielder and Gomez can fit into the role perfectly. The 32-year-old Argentine ticks all the boxes for Inter. However, the only concern for Inter is his age.
Another player that can replace Eriksen in the race for a relevant midfielder is Rodrigo de Paul. It is no secret that Conte favours Rodrigo much more than he ever favoured Eriksen. Eriksen is all set to leave Inter in January as he might move to Arsenal or elsewhere. Rodrigo de Paul may also play in place for Vidal, due to his constant injuries. The question is, will he be able to act as the right choice for Inter? or Will Gomez get his place in the squad with his age in question?
