The Belgian reflected upon his injury this season. He said the flexor tendon took time to recover as it was ruptured. Normally, he recovers soon, but this time he had to take time off the pitch and said that his home turned into a hospital. But the former Man United striker is ready to come back to the pitch. He is eager to hit the ground running starting from the game against Napoli.

Lukaku had an opportunity to talk to the new owner and new manager of the Chelsea football club. He told them about his situation with Thomas Tuchel and hinted at a move to Inter. The Blues have invested in a new forward Nkunku. Hence, they are not looking to bring back Lukaku, as the Belgian is no longer in their plans.
