And with Spurs taking a dive off the top of the table, this transfer might happen. Mourinho’s side had a solid start to the season but encountered a series of slip-ups before Christmas. Inter, on the other hand, are looking like a solid unit without having to play Perisic.
The Nerazzurri admire Perisic too, who’s probably one of the most hardworking players on the field. Being an old servant of the club, Conte gave him a chance at the beginning of the season. While he has adapted well by a winger’s standards to the wing-back position, Inter will want to play a specialist instead. Thus, the Inter management have been on the outlook for a better left wing-back to upgrade on Perisic and Ashley Young.

Perisic’s sale can also open the floodgates for a number of outcasts Inter want to get rid off in this window. Which will further fund the players Conte has been asking for.
