Isco to Inter move can become a possibility in the winter transfer window reports Defensa Central. The report further adds that the Nerazzurri manager is looking to bring a playmaker to Inter. While such a transfer will strengthen the squad further, Inter don’t have the financial muscle to pull that off right now. The Nerazzurri are coming out of a window where they carried out smart business. Achraf Hakimi and Arturo Vidal’s arrival from Spain is already turning out to be a success on the pitch.
The Nerazzurri also kept their finances in control by not spending exponentially. But, with Isco being linked to the club, will the Nerazzurri break the bank to bring the Spaniard to Milan? No, they’ll rather offer Christian Eriksen to Real Madrid for a swap. Eriksen dumped an offer to join Real Madrid to play for Conte at Inter. While that hasn’t turned out the way Christian wanted it to be, he will still want regular game time. Real Madrid are already keen on Eriksen and his adventure in Italy should not put them off as he is barely getting any game time.
The Los Blancos know that Isco’s inconsistency stops him from being Luka Modric’s successor. And with Modric showing clear signs of ageing, Madrid need someone to fill in.
Isco to Inter move possible, but will Madrid even play along?
The thing with Real Madrid is, they don’t let players go for free very often. Eriksen and Isco are valued close to €30M each. While this should make a swap easier, Madrid will want to get the most out of this deal.
On the other hand, Isco is very much aware that he’s not a regular starter at Madrid. At 28, the Spanish midfielder will have it in the back of his mind. Conte and Inter can bank on this and make the deal go through. But, it’s highly unlikely that Inter will want Isco if not for a swap with Eriksen. The Nerazzurri refused to let the Danish midfielder go when Spurs inquired to have him back this summer. Amidst transfer rumours from every corner of the continent, Eriksen must try and find his form before the winter window. If he doesn’t, Isco to Inter move will be all the more possible and so will be his departure from Milan.
